A pretty good website. Contains a lot of articles about Bangladesh. Worth browsing.
Site on Bangla Literature. Contains the profiles of some eminent classical writers of the country
Bangali Adda contains some poems and literature in Bangla. Seems good. No translations available though.

Music Find lyrics to your favorite English songs:
Download mp3s from MP3.com. They host free mp3s. You probably won't find famous artists' songs here. But try out some of your favourite genres. I think you will like them.
Audiogalaxy has been my most favourite music site for so long, until they were sued by the RIAA and they were forced to shut down their peer-to-peer music sharing program. Still I go back and find out about my favourite artists:

Photos Webshots has a big community. Contains a lot of photos. If you want to see the photos on your desktop., download their software.

Softwares This is the place where you can get all sort of cool freeware and shareware:
A pretty cool software for searching the internet. This software simultaneously searches out with several engines.
This software can download web pages - even whole sites! Thus enabling you to read the contents offline.
A very good peer-to-peer sharing software. You can share files from your own PC with people all over the world connected to the Gnutella network through iMesh. I use it to download music mostly, although you can find and download absolutely anything. Download it from their site.
Download Managers. Necessary for downloading softwares and other files from http servers or ftp's. Supports resume and fast downloading. So no need for internet explorer internal download manager.
